400EX No Power

I have a 2001 Honda 400ex. It was running and then just shut off. No Power at all..Neutral light does not come on. I checked battery and fuses by battery..Still good...but no power...Any ideas? Thanks

yep its the ground. I had the same problem out in the dunes, and it took me forever to figure it out. after a good long sunburn, I managed to get it grounded down and started.

It not always the ground. U need to check and make sure u getting fire to the plug, if not it could be your cdi box, coil or maybe even your stator. U need to start with checking the fire first. I know for a fact it isnt always the ground. I have 3 400ex

when there is zero current goign to the lights, chances are its the ground. THere should be at least 2 on your quad. On the battery and on the coil. Check and make sure they are getting good contact. If you have a bad stator or coil, you WILL still get that neutral light to power up.
