I'm rebuilding my Roll Design Lobo 250R for 2010. I rebuilt it this time last year to race motocross with. I ended up second in the points in Quad B in the GLMX series in 2009.

This build won't be done overnight. I will post pics as I assemble the quad.

Here is what the quad looked like when I bought it a couple years ago.

Here is a picture of the quad when I finished rebuilding it almost a year ago.

I just picked up the frame and some other parts from powdercoat yesterday. The quad is going to look quite a bit different than it did last year. Different stem, a-arms, swingarm, plastics, and tires and wheels, just off the top of my head. Like I said, I'll post pics as I go.

What are you going to differently with the A-arms, and swingarm? Gullwing style?

And I seen your pic in another post with the different Lobo stems you have. Which one are you going to use and why?

Thanks

I'm gonna change a couple things for a slightly longer wheelbase this year. I'm going back to a stock height stem from a +1.

Yeah I still have the fenders but the graphics and seat cover are gone.

I'm pretty excited for this build. I think it's gonna turn out nice.

The Walsh is still on the back burner! I hope to start on that quad this year.

It looked good last year but I'm basically putting everything back to the setup and colors it was when my friend raced it in the pro class at the nationals in the late 1990's.

When you get all your builds done. Id love to hear your opinion on each. The Roll, Walsh, Laeger. I plan to build another R eventually and would like to hear someones unbias opinion who has one of each. Should do a whole thread on it.

Just remember, how much money you make isn't nearly as important as what you do with the money you make.

I just saw the pics of your Rolling chassis. The Roll Design frame is sick!!!! I'm looking to buy an aftermarket frame and start a build. I really want a Roll frame , but there spendy!! I'm gonna bid one thats on E-bay right now. The bidding is already over a grand. I spoke with a guy on here that has one forsale, what do those frames normally sell for? Complete the frame with A-arms, steering stem and swingarm? Is around 3 grand a good price?

You don't want to bid on that one from ebay. It's not really a Roll design 250R frame.

The Roll frames are spendy because like Walsh and Laeger CR500 frames you need the frame, swingarm, a-arms and stem.

There's a guy selling one within reasonable distance from me. It's a pretty good price. I can send info if you want.

Looking good. Where did you get the decals from? I have a set of Maier race fronts in white and would like to add a little "color" to them. Those are about the only ones I have seen so far that I like.
