When you get it up to speed (second, third, 4th gear) and just cruise at around 2,500 or 3,000 RPM, everything is fine. If you accelerate any faster in any of the gears, the transmission feels like it goes to neutral. When you let of the throttle, it falls right back in, then you can repeat the process - again and again. Weird thing is, no grinding noises, no clunking, no nothing. Anyone have any ideas on this one? I mean, it's such a good deal that I may just pick it up and fix it - however, I don't want to spend more than I pay for it trying to fix this issue.
Oh, and it's not a gradual thing - it literally feels like it is falling out of gear. It stops pulling entirely......so I want to say it isn't clutch related. Figured I'd ask some of you that are more familiar with this quad than I am.
