hey everyone thinking of getting a lt250r iv always had hondas currently a 450 but i always wanted a suzuki wondering if you guys could fill me in on what to look for as far as wear items, what are the best years and any othe info would be great thanks josh

i'm in ny also, so i'll keep my eye out....
u would be better off with an 87 and up, but really better to find a 91-92. they had the latest rear susp. upgrade(the rm linkage). other than that, check the all the bearings, if u can take the stator cover off and make sure the flywheel is tight when u try moving it up and down, check compression if u can, and make sure it runs right....

take it for a ride make sure the power band feels like there is no dead spots and runs strong i was lucky to find one that had alot of work done to the motor from duncan for 1000 bucks.... look for cracks on the frame and make sure the shocks dont feel too soft like there worn out or need a rebuild look for leaks on the motor and bent axle or front a arms 87 and up are pretty powerful they are pretty easy to work on and if they are tuned right last a long time
