I had my DS450XC at the dealership today and they couldn't get the race ECU to pick up the information off the computer. So they put the stock one back on. My dillemma is that I have a race this weekend, can I run it with the slip on exhaust and no ECU? And Can I cut the pink wire?
As far as I understand, the pink wire helps performance, but does not get rid of the "limp" mode, correct?
So I can run the cut wire and slip on exhuast for now, and worry about the ECU later? I will not have time to get back up to the deakership before my race...
