its about time for Houser to start making other chassis components. I would love to get a set of those nerfs and pegs to replace my Ac pro pegs.

one thing though. Houser prices their aluminum to high. They want over $100 for a grab bar. COuld you imagine what they want for those nerfs?

Hey everyone!

This is Mark Wert from Houser Racing.

We just released the Nerf Bars, if you look closely, you can see we added suspension to the Foot Pegs. There is a Patent Pending on these, so don't expect to see them elsewhere.

There are also some changes made to the frame mounts that are really nice and make the product more resistant to breaking.

The Nerf Bar with Suspension Pegs and Heel Guards will Retail for $399.99!

We have a series of Front Bumpers in the works also.

We have lowered the prices on Grab Bars too!

For more info see our web site or call us!

Is that a laeger frame too? what plastics are those?

yes it is a Laeger frame, built by Mark. The rear fender is yfz450r, it uses the bike shrouds and gast tank. I think the front hood from the quad is used, not sure about that.

Nice design, but not with those shocks. Those small adjusters on the bottom wouldn't last a single lap at a GNCC.

That's the answer I was looking for. I didn't figure they were readily available as of yet.

The Laeger quad is sweet, although i would agree the Elka's would have to go. I was dealing with Laegers on building a new hybrid for me last year. It was something they were more than happy to do, just came down to the money. I just couldn't afford it. You are talking about $15k at least. I know its the best of the best, but still pricey. I have been told a few times that Laegers doesn't have the CRF hybrid frame jigs anymore, but could build a new hybrid pretty easy

Mark at Houser. Your nerfs look good and suspension in them sound great, But im' not to keen on the pop rivots on the little extensions. Is that the way the will be made or will you use some thing else? Just asking cause pop rivots aren't very strong!

ohioEX

The Nerf Bars are available for the 06+ TRX450 and the YFZ450R models now. They will be made to order, so there will be a small wait before they ship (a day or two).

The rivets on the end caps of the foot pegs are high strength aircraft rivets. They have a shear strength of 4,000 pounds each, so they shouldn't be any problem. The way the rivets are placed has also been engineered to be as strong as possible.

We will have Grab Bars and Nerf Bars for other quads available soon, also front bumpers are in the works, so look for more products to be released within the month.

Mark @ Houser

We do have a KTM in the shop, so you should be seeing the nerf bars for that quad in the near futrue.

The foot pegs have an anti-vibe style pivot point and a elastomer that allows 5/8" of travel. That might seem like a lot, but you will notice a difference.
