K&N airfilter cleaner spray and oil on Velocity airfilter......?

I was just wondereing if its safe to use the K&N cleaner spray and oil on a Velocity airfilter? They are almost identical so i didnt think it would hurt but i thought i'd ask first. I have always used K&N airfilters but have a few Velocity filters now and only K&N cleaner.

That is not a problem. Both are cotton gauze filters, the K&N oil
and cleaner are used for those types of filters.

i used it before dont put to much oil i did once and it wouldnt run worth a flip
