1989 250r for sale or trade

only had it a week. its nice but i want another banshee. it has hot rods crank, prox piston on stock bore, big desert tank, +2+1 lone star a-arms, +2+4 lonestar axle, works shocks, fat bars, custon lights, curtis sparks mx pipe, 38 mm airstryker carb, ac pro peg nerfs with pegs, ac bumper and grab bar, k&n filter. probably forgetting alot of stuff. bike is set up for 180-200 mx. would like to trade for a banshee or $2200. located south of atlanta . its dirty in pics just got back from riding it. if no one is interested ill prob strip down and powder coat and 310 kit it up. im not hurting for money so no low ball offers. thankshttp://i791.photobucket.com/albums/yy192/jeremynteresa/honda.jpg http://i791.photobucket.com/albums/yy192/jeremynteresa/r2.jpg http://i791.photobucket.com/albums/yy192/jeremynteresa/r4.jpg

hole shot tires, billet double row carrier(new), new chain , new brake pads, new bushings and bearings throughout every thing is real tight. could use a new clutch( began to slip on tight wood trails after about 4 hours of riding). will start on 3rd kick cold and first warm.

all the plastics are new asv levers lockup clutch +10 swingarm all new tires with an extra set of tires tons of billet dyne programmable cdi

3500.00 TRADE??? + some cash and will meet you half way

how much cash we talking and where u located? mine also has upgraded brakes (not sure if there 400ex or 450r) and stainless steel brake lines

Well I ended up trading for this plus i got some cash 87 250R with +2 a arms dura blue axle, new esr 330 pv with 38 mm carb tcs shocks 4 brand new hole shot tires and new front rims new chain and sprockets.

id definitely say if you put a trx5 pipe on it instead of what looks to be the trx11, it will perform better

Don't worry about the pipe it preforms excellent. It was set up to run the 11 pipe.

first time ive seen a mx set up with that pipe/port configuration, normally its for dunes

I don't think it was intended to be a mx bike the guy i got it from is a big time drag/hill shoot /dunner guy

first bike i built was a 250r 2 years ago. I know a fair amount about them. Just looks to be set up for mx but should be a strong runner. Only reason for the 400ex is the price i got it for and all the suspension and such is going on another 250r build when i get the money :cool:
