Helm enterprises makes bushings that come with sleeves for the Laeger. It's the same price.
I think the website is atvbushings.com

I think I have a few new ones laying around, if I sent them, would you be able to just take them and copy or do you have some older ones already?

If you could make them for less than $100 I'm sure you'd have a few customers.

I have no bushings in mine at all so I'm not really sure if there old or new. Making them for less than $100 Is the easy part. What material is it?

hey charlie: my standard laeger arms came new with black delron bushings (thats what mark told me they were). the sleeves probably made from pretreated 4140 pre-treated Rc 28-32. i'm going to take the sleeves to work and take a hardness test. at work they can take almost any metal and analyze it as far as what material it is.

man i'm sure you realize how many you can make in an hour on a CNC. maybe another project to make and sell.

are the bushings and sleeves that you need different than the ones needed for stock/aftermarket arms (not t-pins)

yeah thats what im lookin for and a sleeve also, you can pm me if you like(its 4 for each arm). Joe im not wanting to make money like a manufacturer does just maybe help a few people out. Plus make parts for myself. Now i gotta just get pricing on material for the bushing and the sleeve. The sad part is my shop doesnt have a cnc lathe so ill be cranking handles to make these, thats not a big deal. the only cnc we have is the vertical mill i run.

charlie: i'm not really looking to make these to sell for a profit. just like you i'd like to help people out. hell i need 4 complete sets myself. i also need a new bushing and sleeve to take measurements. my buddies have a cnc lathe shop out in mentor.
they told me if i bought the material that they would run a couple hours of parts for free (they owe me some favors for getting them work).

Hey guys I've got exactly what you're looking for at home....I'll measure them up and post later.

If you want a cheaper alternative check out BUNTING Bearings and look at the 841 Oil Impregnated bronze bushings.....I use them and get 2 seasons out of them for $16 (16 pieces @ $1ea)

I have Stainless steel sleeves.

Here goes!

Bushing:

Length = .750"
I.D. = 0.560
O.D.=0.750
Flange diameter = 1.00"
Flange Thickness = 0.125"

Sleeve:

Length = 2.050"
O.D. = 0.560"
I.D. = 0.393" = 10mm

Suggestion:

Make the sleeve out of 0.500" Stainless Steel

Use SAE 841 Bronze bushings - Part# FF707-2 Bunting Product catalogue (available a most bearing suppliers for $1ea)

Also they are WAYYYY! stronger than DELRIN or Nylon.

SAE 841 bronze is rated at 50,000 PV & Delrin is 3,000

ID=0.502"
OD=0.753"
FLANGE OD = 15/16
FLANGE THICKNESS = 1/8"

They work great! & you'll save a bunch of $$$
