carburetor lines

i am about to put my 400ex carburetor back together and reinstall it. i want to make sure i put all vacuum and drain lines in their proper places. where does the two lines that come out and hook onto a y connector go? i've looked online for a picture, but cant find one.

Those should just be vent lines. I want to say there was a hose going over the top of the heat shield they connected to but I cant remember off the top of my head.

i believe they are vent lines. i found another q & a site and the guy had a similar problem. they just come out and hang down out the way. it would still be nice though, to have a layout of all the hoses and how they're routed.
