Mikuni tm carb DS racing

Just bought another R. It has mikuni tm carb how can i tell what size it is 36 or 38. It has 295 big bore and on the side of the jug it has DS Racing ingraved. The guy I bought it from got the R from Midland MI area. does anybody know who they are. Thank you

if you dont have a set of telescopic bore gauges you'll need to measure down inside the slide with a machinists rule to get an accurate measurement. if you dont have either, mearuring the engine side of the throat/bore will get you close.
