Alright guys well most of you may know that i wrecked my dodge not to long ago. And well basically im lookin for some advice here and a rough idea on what i would need to do.. The frame on the passengers side is bent in and pretty much everything got pushed in not really broke. the drivers window is busted out. Air bag deployed and windshield is busted. I really want to rebuild it. was just lookin for a rough estimate by guessing or if anyone could throw out some actual prices. here is the truck

not worth fixing.....once you bend the frame and do that much damage it will never track straight again. You'll go through a set of tires a month and for the time and money you need to fix it you might as well use it for a down payment on another one....just my opinion

totaled, bent frame is the end of it, plus the rest looks like you would need way to much to rebuild the front end

It's a total loss if you ask me, you're going to end up with atleast or more then 5-6 grand tied up into it by the time you get all the parts, frame machine time, paint etc.. I'd say bite the bullet and get rid of it..:o

And speaking from experience I wouldn't even want to own that thing if you did fix it, I can see the cabs shifted a little as well.. :scary:

im gonna give a rough estimate...thats AT LEAST a 7k dollar fix. and you can get the frame on a frame straightener depending on how bad it is.

500 for hood
at least 200 for the fender
youre going to need new control arm, ball joints, tie rods, new wheel and tire.
500 more for the bumper.
plus body work.
add another 2-300 for the window.
add another 500 for the windshield.
not to mention if anything in the engine bay god bent/broke.
plus the airbag is going to run you at least 2k for them to repack it.

it may be worth it to you, but to anyone else its possibly totaled.

wow all your responses are redic. You could deff fix that truck and it dosent look like a lot of work eaither. Its not true that it will never ride the same again its bs. If you know what your doing you can fix it so no one will ever know it was crashed. It took me and my dad only a day to fix my frame on my evo and it was way worse than that. Ill post some px

Just a heads up, it's not a frame it's called a uni body.. Also your car there is an easy fix, matter of fact if you and your father couldn't fix that in a day I would really think there is something wrong.. The dodge has a true FRAME, which when is hit as hard as it looks it tweaks and it sends jolts from the front to back and the metal streches where it was first hit and can diamond the frame.. where your unibody crushes at the " safety " crush points, hence why most small cars are unibodys such as hondas, toyotas and so on.. That truck also has front end suspension damage which can be one hell of a can of worms to open depending on if it's 4X4 or 2X4.. Not saying it's not fixable I'm just stating for the average person to try and take it on themselfs, I dont see it happening..

your comparing apples to oranges bud.. :o

I didnt expect people to like a Evo on a truck loving site but its all good if anyne ever gets to drive an Evo and expierence the power and handling than you can sate your opinion on the car.

personally id take a evo over my truck any day. I think yours turned out sick. Good job man. And as far as mine goes i found a deal on a 99' dodge ram brand new paint, tires, bed liner, 85k miles has the works and no rust for 5k so im thinking thats my best bet really.

Great job on the EVO, it looks hot. About a year ago I was about to buy an 06 silverado ss w/ 33k miles. The truck looked amazing, only COSMETIC damage was the bumper, grill and right fender. I wish I had some pics, it was a beautiful truck. The driver must of hit something very low, hence the minimal cosmetic damage. But the frame was pushed back to the right. It takes a lot to set off a frame and leads to a chain of crap. You will always find something that will offset your budget. This truck was listed at $7k w/ a salvage title .With all of the parts and labor, it would of easily hit over $14k and by that time I could pick up another one with a clean title. Also the frames has to be heated which will cause weakness depending on the intensity and duration. If you enjoy leaving 4 tire trails out of your car wash than I say go for it. On the other hand there are plenty of cheap ram parts out there and if you can find a very good frame straightener that nows what's going on, and plan out a budget that won't surpass $3k, than I would set it aside and think about it. BTW is it the 3.7, 3.9, 4.7 or 5.7?

BTW last week I had a fella hit the back of my 03 ram. The hitch went through the front of his f'ed. He scratched my hitch and some minor scractches under the bumper. His lexus was totalled, comes to say BUILT RAM TOUGH. The incident ended happily with a nice check in the mail.
