Classic 250R racing at it's finest!!!

I laughed when I heard the announcer pronounce LAEGER (layjeeer....he must think it's a french chassis builder)

Jasmin Plante goes from almost last to come back and win it!!!

And then the American riders started showing up and that was the end of the fun for the hometown Canada fans. :D

Hahaha....:D

I guess you haven't followed the Montreal Supercross very much....there's always been american riders....;)

Some of the best American riders have participated.....Gary Denton,John Natalie, Harold Goodman, the late Todd Vescovi....to name a few.

The thing with the Quebec crowd is.....they don't really care who wins or loses.....sure they love to see their homeboy's (Desarmeaux, Plante, Pelchat & Gee)win but they're more interested in the RACING.....the competition....the excitement!

Quebec is the QUAD Capital of Canada......more riders, more tracks, more involvement in motorsports.

If you ever get a chance to go to Montreal and witness it, it is an AMAZING evening. The crowd gets so worked up that you can feel the stadium shake!!!! And it's all concrete!!!

It's AWESOME!

I was just messing with ya. It's not like Gee, Pelchat, or Plante don't haul *** on a quad. They do! I love watching them race. That wouldn't be a bad idea to take a trip to watch the races up there in Canada. Sounds like it would be a blast.

Man you can definitely see the difference if suspension components from then to now! Looks like they were riding on rock hard shocks! Watching some of those hits hurt by back! LOL

Plante was in a class all his own!
