Yes, but I believe that part has to be charged electrically in order for the powder to stick to it while spraying. Baby powder with food coloring in it doesn't work, by the way.

powder is positively charged the metal is negative. colored powder is sprayed and sticks. then the parts are baked and the podwer melts into a liquid then hardens. One layer of powdercoat is basiclly equivelent to 10 coats of paint. and much more durrable

You will need a good oven. And you can't just powder anything. It will have to be sandblasted and cleaned.

Go on youtube and search " How to Powdercoat". There are many lenghty videos you can watch to get an idea of how it works. I plan on opening a powdercoating shop down the road in life, I love it, and its easy once you get the hang of it. Great money too because everybody gets things powdercoated, even things you would least expect... just take a look around next time your out and try and find things that are powdercoated.

Research and asking people what it is, is not the same thing. Specific questions are fine, but it's not different than "what is the best pipe for my 400?":eek2:

They have a forum with answers to most of your questions

You will actually have to do some learning and reading like any new thing

You will need an air compressor, a way to sandblast your parts, a booth of sorts to help contain the overspray of powder, hopefully some filtration and an oven to cure the powder.

Read son, if your not going to put in some effort in gaining some knowledge, there is no benefit in me repeating myself
