View Full Version : FS: 2002 400ex no engine in Illinois

I bought this 400ex with a busted motor case for $700 with the thought of making a 426 big bore out of it. Frame is in good shape no cracks its never been raced. The front plastic was busted i bought new front plastic from honda for $150. It has brand new ProTaper bars new MSR clutch lever and block off plate on the rear brake, zeta bar ends. The rear tires are good front tires are bald comes with pretty much everything but the engine and drive chain. The swingarm bearings need replaced i bought a brand new swingarm bolt to replace the old one.

I need to get it out of here it would make a great project. But i need the money to fix my jeep so its got to go.

I will not ship it pick up only! comes with clear title.

It does not come with the motor! I built the bottom end with a hotrods crank and put all new bearings for it and had a big bore kit installed in the jug and im selling it separately.

I ran out of money for this project and its been sitting here for a year and i know its never going to go any farther so im parting it out. So if someone has a spare motor and wants a quad to throw it in. or maybe wants a 400ex to put a yamaha motor in this might be for you.

I still have it but im pretty sure its sold... if the deal falls through i will let everyone whos asked about it know
