I know there's a ton of threads like this but I haven't seen one lately. Thought I'd just see who else feels like they have committed a crime if they miss a day. Oh and post up your splits.

I hit the arena every day. Weight room for 20min, run for about 25min, swim 5min, and then relax in the hot tub & sauna.

I'm there 2 to 3 hours 4 days a week, then on the mountain bike the other 3. Had to miss almost 2 full weeks because of the Flu lately and it's drove me nuts. Started back yesterday and feel amazing.

I have weightlifting practice for my high school team Monday through Thursday from 2:00pm till 3:30pm.

Then I usually run 1.5 miles after practice.

Fridays are cardio only days.. 3 miles then swim a few laps..

Im the only one on the team in my weight class.. lol. 6'0" @ 137.4lbs.. And I lift pretty decently for my weight:p

65 - 90 minutes a day 5 days a week.

If i miss a day, i try to squeeze it in on another day or bump the whole week forward.

Each day has its own muscle group or groups.

By late spring i'll look like this ----> :macho

Can some of you guys post exactly what your workout program consists of? And what have you noticed most improves and helps with racing?

For racing, in my opinion, you gotta stick with the essentials. Do alot of lunges, squats, squat presses, standing dumbell presses, bent over rows, hyper extensions, pushups, pullups, core work. If you go to racerxvt.com, tim crytser is an amazing trainer and read some of his articles, very informative!

i go to the weights 2-3 times a week mostly twice a week for an hour atm because of work focusing on power to get bigger for track and w/c bball which in return will give me the mass and strength to help throw my quad around better its helping witht he sled so far. once a week track practice doing sprints for an hour. one sled ride per week atm usually for up 3-5 hours which equals to 1-2 hours on the mx track in the summer. as long as i don't have to work on bball team practice nights we have 2 hour team practice. i drink whey protien, xten/cytomax (w/e is available at gnc) and endurogen. what a difference! my track coach is gonan try to get me bball court time in the afternoons at the local univeristy gym since the local community gym is closed until further notice. basicly i want to be a machine at the mx track. because i busted my but for 2-3 hours 4 days of the week when unadilla came around 4 laps was a breeze endurance wise for me. on most days last year as long as i drank my whey and took my endurogen i could do up to 5-6 15-20min motos.
also i have developed a sit up with a medicine ball because of my disability if anyone is interested pm me

Using Phil Coles ATV Fitness program.

4 days a week at the gym and with his program have dropped quite a bit of weight and packed on some lean muscle. Custom designed for each individual. The best mod I have done to my quad (me).

I just got into lifting recently and its becoming an addiction. I caught a cold though and continued to lift, but i noticed my strenght and endurance dropped. Does anyone else work out while feeling under the weather, or is it safer to just take a break until I kick the cold.

I love working out ever since I have been able to go whenever I want since it is a 24/7 gym. I go about every other day and it feels great.

20 reps of the following:
Leg press (quads) 170
Calfs: 75
Leg extension (quads) 70
Overhead press machine (triceps and shoulders) 80
Pulldown machine (biceps and upper back) 105
Lateral raise (shoulder) 60
Fly (chest) 80
Arm extension (triceps) 55
Abs machine: 90
Back extension (lower back) 130
plus as many pullups as I can do which is 15 overhand or 30 underhand.

Gettin there but by far the best way to keep my health in check
