which timing chain?

I read some people using crf 450 timing chain? Is there any difference to using this? Im going to put a new timing chain in it also.

its thicker its the same as the HD cam chain they sell except its half the price.

is there any performance gain at all by replacing the cam chain, if your old chain was stretched?

no power gain but it holds up against stretching and breaking alot better than stock in my opinion. For the price well worth the peace of mind.

thanks a ton guys. This will definitely be going in my build. Is there any certain year crf450 chain i should get?

i dunno if there is any difference ove the years for the crf chain, but i got a 02 or 03 if i remember right. Got it off ebay a few years ago for $40 or so
