radiator help

i got a radiator off ebay and i noticed that the places where the hoses connect just come out strait. The one I have and every one iv seen comes out and curves.

i have an 87 and was told this was out of an 86 but the part numbers show that they should be the same. anyone ever see one like this?

What's the part number on the one you got?

I've got 3 radiators for 86 and 87 and they all have a bend in them.

i didnt even think about writing down the part number. Im not where its at and im snowed in so i cant check.

My 86 has bends, the 87's that I've had did not and came out straight.

What condition is your's in? Want to swap? Mine is pretty good condition, but I am not sure my CV4 hoses will work or not.

You have an 88-89 radiator if both come out straight.

ok thanks for the info.

im actually going to see if it will still work. my r is spread out all over the garage floor so i cant test it just yet i was just kind of wondering why they came out like that.
