yes they are fixable,who told you that!!
if a shock has a bottle,it has that bottle so it can be serviced.
it they wanted it to be a disposable shock they would have copied the 300ex,now that is a crap shock.

The raptor rear shock can be rebuilt. SuperDave if your planning on putting it on ur 300ex, make sure you get a raptor shock off a 2001. The 02' and 03' wont fit, because they have a piggyback rezzy and the 01' shock has a remote rezzie. If you weigh under 200 lbs then I would suggest getting a 400ex rear shock spring to put on the raptor shock, but if your over 200lbs then use the raptor spring. If you got any questions about it, shoot me a pm.

Check out ebay, you might find one up there, or try bluetraxx, or atvconnection. Look to spend newhere from 100-200 for one in nice condition.
