Bottom end bearings are in and so are the seals. I think I pressed them too far in though. I did a search and couldn't find anything, does anyone know how far to press the left and right crankshaft seals in? I'll be running a ESR cr250 plate. The clymer manual just says to install them, doesn't say how far or any other information on this important step

TIA!!

just get them flush with the case bearing race... both ends... IF YOU PUSH THEM IN TO FAR, IT WILL SEIZE YOUR MAIN BEARINGS. just to make that clear. The cr 250 adaptor plate will push the bearing in just a little bit farther then flush. But dont install it farther than you have to.

actually on the stator side, the manual says to push it in like 3/16" or something past the edge...

Flush on the right side and 5mm deep on the left..
