im in Northern Kentucky. we got about 4-5 inches between friday and saturday. we are getting/got another 4-7 inches between yesterday and the rest of today, and then we are getting even more monday, and there is no estimate yet for that one. This is a lot of snow for this area, and i am loving it!

I'm sure it would be fun...for about a day. Everything being wet, chitty driving conditions, being cold all together, worrying about roof falling on your head...that stuff is for the birds:scary:

NC isn't much better been snowing for about a week now.. probably got 12inches on the ground right now..calling for another 3 tonight and then we get a 2 day break then snow all next week.. right now its flurries with 60mph winds. So sick of snow..it was fun the first day then it just got old realllllllllll quick.

We have almost 32 inches in the grass. We still had some snow on the ground from decembers blizzard(27inches), then we got another storm like 2 weeks later(5inches), then the storm this past weekend(12inches) and then this storm we just got(11inches), so with it all added up, and the drift, theres places that are a foot, and places that are 4ft deep. it sucks!

Its cold any snowy in MN but the low pressure is making lake superior's surf scene perfect right now. Here is a pic from yesterday I believe.

I'm heading up to the north shore again this weekend for more lake surfing fun.

well they blew this forcast to chit. it was supposed to be coming down 1 to 2 inches per hour since noon...4 hours later we dont even have a dusting. and best of all, most schools in mass got let out early or cancelled all together. also everytown is paying their guys overtime to sit around and wait for it to amount to something

yeah i dont mind 1 or 2 inches but this 10 or so inches we got today sux. tried taking the quad out and didnt make it far:rolleyes: i guess 18 inch tires arent ment for the snow

cold it is cold here thats the problem..the cold here feels worse than the 10 degree in michigan when i go up there...its a totally different cold down here than up there..if its going to be cold it better snow...no it rains thats even worse...i plan to migrate north one day

pay for my traveling exspenses and ill be there lol....ill be outside all day in that stuff..when i go to michigan i get the snowblower out like a little kid and go play...now only if i had something to ride in the snow that would be even better...also any slopes near by ??? i love to snowboard!!!!

you are alot smarter than the fire company in my town. back in 1996 i think it was we had a bad storm and the firehouse roof was almost flat with a very little angled roof and they thought it would be a good idea to spray the water off with the fire hose:rolleyes: well that didnt turn out good at all. all the snow stayed o the roof got realy heavy. heavy enough to make the roof collapse on the whole entire building:rolleyes: "who would of thought that would have happened"<sarcasm:ermm:
but it took them a year and a half to rebuild it and they made it have more of a angles roof. i have it on video somewheres

fuuuuuuuuuuuuu just got back inside from shoveling and part of our favorite tree snapped off :( ... 8:00pm here and its just stopped snowing. Will have to go back out in a little bit to finish. Needed to refuel with a little grub :D

I know it's rough for you guys. But I can't help but laugh when I see these pics.

When it doesn't happen every year, that much snow must be overwhelming. I live in Manitoba though and those pics look like November.

This year we've been lucky and don't have as much snow as usual..about the same as you have. So it looks like you're shoveling my snow.

Just last week, I had to put my flip-flops in the closet and start wearing SOCKS and SHOES !
and to top that off,.. I'm even wearing a FLANNEL SHIRT on top of a tee shirt !
