yes that is just a collar, should be 4

They have to be pressed out, the swingarm is tappered inward toward the center. You will need to press them out from the middle towards the outside...make sense?

I just removed my bearings and like stated i just stuck a screw driver down and poped them out. The actual bearing sleeve that held the needle bearings in place required a little more convincing though. a little heat and the right size socket poped them out though.

for future reference i've attached an image of a lil tool i came up with that not only removes those inner bearings but allows for the install of new ones. :cool:

ya it makes sense... just curious could you leave them in if your getting it powder coated. or will that screw them up...

should be ok to leave them in but i'd suggest that you clean the grease out really good though.:cool:
