who would be a good person or company to send my shock to to have it rebuilt? about how much should it cost? i would like to have someone in PA if there is anybody, but would ship it if needed. i may need it revalved because i weigh 250 lbs. is it worth it or should i buy an aftermarket? i mostly ride woods and hill climb.

i have been researching the same thing for a while race tech in pittsburg can do it but its not real cheap, if you wanted to try it out for yourself its 107 for all the parts and 20 for a dit dvd all from race tech. so you might be able to do it for 130 on your own. check into it. one thing i did find out is most prices you find are labor only no parts or shipping included!! goodluck and let us know how you make out.

My PEP rear rebuild has been nothing less than great (Baldwin motorsports)....And I love my PEP ZPS's on the front.

I hear that the GThunder (pronounced GT
Thunder) rebuilds are top notch and comparable to good aftermarket shocks. Give Laz a call.

Yes, you will get it revalved and maybe a different spring. It'll be made to your weight and machine.
They will want to know:: what machine, what length swingarm, what a-arms, rider weight, and maybe more dimentions.

I've been looking into this myself. PEP is around $350 for rebuild and w/new spring, $525 if you want the 8 click big bottle added too.

Laz is $75 labor +parts, 1 week turn around time.
