questions 50cc auto in tyhpoon

bought a 125 xtreme with the motor blown about a week ago thinking my daugter would want to race it. but no she wants to keep riding her pink polaris, so my 5yr old says he wants to. so i was thinking of putting a 50cc full auto in it. any comments, or ideas.
And yes my son has been riding for about a year.

Why a 50cc? Would think that wouldn't be much power.

just screw the stop on the thumb throttle in and start him in first gear. it wont be long and he will be reaching down and shifting up into second when your not looking. lol thats what my boy did

know nothing about motor, it was off the quad. so i really don't want split the cases and check it out now right. the 50 motor was $165. shipped. i want him to worry about riding and not shifting right now. i have already thought about buying a gpx 90 and sitting it back just in case.
quad needs little things like thumb throttle, cable, swing arm bushings and tires. rims if i can find some cheap.
