I have a set of nearly new Long Travel Elka Quad rate shocks front & rear. The fronts are 19.25" LT shocks (pair), piggyback, compression adj, set up for a 180 lb. MX rider, and +2 LT a-arms. Rear shock is stock length, compression & rebound adj, dual rate, set up for 180 lb. mx rider. Very little use, excellent condition. I would like to get $1300.00 for the set, obo. I would prefer to sell the set together, but I will seperate if there is interest. I pulled the Elka stickers off but no worries, Elka always includes extras!

Sorry, I can't go that low. These are practically brand new shocks at a fraction of the new cost!

what does elka charge to get the shocks set up for a heavier rider. Also will they work on +3 +1 or +2 +1 a-arms? What model are these shocks so I can look them up?

I think most folks would recommend sending them to GT Thunder or Derisi to have the shocks re-valved for your weight. I understand that they do a GREAT job setting up their shocks, but I don't have personal experience. I've also read that a lot of guys buy new Elkas and send them straight to GT Thunder for re-valving because it's that much better. These shocks will definitely work for +3+1 or +2+1, you'll just have to provide the details for your setup to GT Thunder and they will set them up right.

GT Thunder website:
Front shock: $55.00 each
Rear shock: $75.00

Even with the re-valve cost, you are still paying way less for these mint shocks compared to new.
