im wanting to upgrade the suspension somehow on my 04 250ex.. im thinkin maybe a banshee front shock on the rear but i havent found anything for the front.. diamond j makes a shock relocator but im not sure what shocks id be able to use.. any ideas?

depending on who is going to be riding it, the banshee shock might be too soft, if it is you could try a 300ex rear shock.

The diamond j kit will fit alomst all front shocks, but has mixed reviews as far as reliablilty.

well im 180lb's so maybe ill just go w/ the 300 shock... do u know of any shocks that fit the front without the relocator?

so a stock rear 300ex shock will fit a 250ex rear? and its a little better?

yes, but u have 2 use a couple washers

ok sweet thanks. I wonder if like a works shock or elka 300ex shock would work then? if it was the same length as the 300ex stock.

yeah, stock length aftermarket 300 shocks should fit the rear with a set of washers.

and with 180 pounds i would go for the 300 shock over a shee one.

i dont know of any other shocks that will fit the front without some custom fab work done. i think it has to do with the 250 shocks being too narrow at the eyeholes.

It has on it so fare. DG grag bar,ac bumper,hmf pipe,pro taper bars,handguards,kill switch,ac nerf bars, itp rims,razr mx tires,K and N airfilter, its all dirty right now ill post some pics next month. still have alot to do with it tho

06 it has all stock black blastic. But my ners,front bumper,rear bumper and rims are anodized blue. gunna get some hipers for xc racing this summer
