How observant are you? For those who have a factory service manual, take a look at section 1 page 2 and section 2 page 19. What do you see?:D I've been meaning to post a thread about this for a long time, I finally got around to doing it.

Yep,

Hood and air scoop on the 86 is white.

at least that's what I'm seeing.

The white hood and air scoop are what I was refering to. Must have been pre-production or prototype stuff. I'd love to get my hands on those pieces.

Or it's a crappy print job from the 80's? lol.

It would be pretty sick, OEM white hood.

It's not a crappy print job. If you have the manual in hand you can clearly see the hood and scoop were white.
