Well since it is about that time of year I'm rebuilding the quad. Started off with this:

Then after all the PC work, tons of new parts, a piston and ring change that turned into just about everything in the motor except the tranny (strange considering this is an 06), a new tool box and tools, and a new work area here it sits after day 1 of the rebuild:

I can't do indepth shots of it just because I am building this on no time. Going to school 5 hours away from home only gives me a few weekends to come home and get work done and I also have to balance the time with my newly engaged fiance so hopefully it will go smoothly. Now question time, for anyone that has rebuilt Houser long travel a arms, is it just me or are the lower ball joint an absolutle nightmare to get in? Any tips or tricks on getting them in because I tried doing it in a vise, using a press, and the good old hammer and socket to which nothing could get the ball joints in. Thanks a lot guys!

Thank you its a color that I haven't seen before, changes colors in the sun. Its a black base but has red and orange flake along with green yellow and blue sparkle in it in the son. Deff looks cool I can't wait for it to be done. You can actually see the new red plastics in the background.

Baileygunns- Thats what I thought too shes good about it though, she knows how much racing means to me so she leaves me alone usually and helps me sometimes. But being away from home for weeks at a time so it makes it hard sometimes because she is fighting for my time too. But she said that shes excited to see it done because it should look cool

A friend of mine has an hour meter I would like to put on this. Never saw an install thread or page, anyone have a quick crash course on this. I haven't even seen it yet so I don't know if it is easy or hard. Thanks guys.

they are about as easy as putting on a zip tip and sticking it to your frame. all you have to do is wrap the wire around the plug wire and find some place to put it on your frame

Looks good. What's the deal with that rear tread pattern? Never seen it done like that.

My friend Danny who is now the owner of Nac's does crazy things with grooving tires. It works good the little I've ridden them they actually perform better then my practice SX tires that aren't grooved.

She actually helped me a few times and other times when I was having a hard time with something she sat in the garage untill I went in for moral support. She even picked out the powdercoat colors.

I love them. I have them on all 3 of my quads but these are the best set I have. Its been on the track 1 time and was ok but things weren't dialed in so I was trying to work out things and break in the motor. I'm going to be riding a private track Friday so then I'll really see what it has. And yeah she is great.

RobRacing- That is exactly how I feel with all the new parts.

To all.... Thanks for the comments. I got a red clutch cover that is going on Friday night after I change the oil so updated pics and maybe some action pics next week.
