I think it's sort of personal opinion..

When you say 'best', what do you mean?

There are virtually endless compression and bore combinations. stock, 406, 416, 426, and 440 are some of the common bores. Then compression goes all the way from stock to 12.5:1 normally.

As a general rule, the higher bore and compression you go with, the more reliablity goes down.

Now as for brand, I have 20-30 hours on my JE piston and have had 0 problems thus far.

Dont forget about CP / carrillo I recently spoke to a rep that said he could build me what ever i wanted in a piston ,but i have no issues with wiesco or je it really boils down to how good its built ,i have said it before alot of blame for failure is put on the equipment when it should be on the builder or rider.

CP is also very good, those are used in NASCAR. i only said JE over CP because they make more and so more people have given feedback on them.
