View Full Version : 450r Swing Arm

How much longer will this make it? How much wider is the axle? Does any one have any pics they can post please? Also, will 250r linkage work? What all else is needed? Will i be better off with a 350x swap? Are the 450 hubs the same pattern as the 300 (will the 450 hubs work on my 300 wheels)?

it will extend you out about 3''
the axle is 2'' or 3'' wider i cant remember which
250r linkage will work
300ex hubs will work on the axle.
tabs will need to be welded onto the frame to bolt the linkage up

heres a pic of my old 300 with a 450r rear end.

what shock did u use? seems very high

thanks for replying guys! how hard is it to wheely? how was the suspension ride,too?

i used a 250r shock i dont remember what year anymore


the ride was smoother than stock and it was much more stable. if you have the money to send the shock out to be rebuilt and it will make a hell of an improvement.

wheelies were still doable. you just have to get used to the new set up as your balance point will change.
