Race motor question

Ok guys i have a question on the 250 raptor motor. We are in the process of boring out the cylinder & my engine builder says that the best we can do is make it a 275cc, that will still give us .108 left on the cylinder wall, & he says anything under .100 is a granade ready to explode. Does any one know if the Rage/CT motors are a true 300 or are the going with the smaller cc's

Ken,

What RPM Max Power does is to bore it to 275cc (77mm piston) and then they also stroke it to get it to 300cc.

Thats what i thought, going to stroke it later. Shame Yamaha makes us spend all this damn extra money to get it to 300cc, when they could have just made it 300cc
