after a long search, i fianlly found a truck. its a 05, 5.3 vortec, has dual flows, 2 12 inch kicker cvrs, 900 watt amp, billet grill, lowered and leveld, and 22's. i got a decent price mainly cause it needed back tires and a centercap. fortunatley, dad ordered both for me the day after i bought it, and payed for it. plus he paid to have it washed and detailed.
for some reason i really like that truck very nice

Nice truck, as long as you don’t want to haul anything. Mine was lowered and I put it back to stock. I tried to haul something one day and it would bottom out real bad. You can’t carry more then a few hundred pounds in it. Still it’s a nice truck.

yea, ive done had that thought, and dad assured me if i needed to haul anything that i could use his z71, cause he didnt mind cruisin around in my truck, haha. but i done had my fourwheeler in it, and its all good, i just have to be cautious where like roads and bridges meet, thats the only place its bottoms out

You can always C-notch:devil:
Anyway, as far as the wheels go, you're dad may not be too fond of you changing right after he bought tires. So I'd rock 'em for a little while, save the money, buy another set, sell those, then you have money to play with. Best advice I can offer for a first time truck owner is not to dump ALL your money in it. If you were to ever wreck it or want to sell it, you will lose out.:ermm:
If it were mine I have to ditch the buf flector and pinstripes. Other than that, sharp truck.:D

yea, thats why i said i was going to wait to get new rims. i will sell those first anyways. i was going to get liability, but mom insisted on full coverage. other then rims, the only things i really wanna do is put a carbon fiber bowtie on the front instead of the gold, and maybe black out the taillighhts

A car or truck is just a money pit, a salesman will tell you it’s an investment but an investment is something that increases in value. Only a rare few make that clam and it takes twenty years to see a return. Just drive it like it is and be happy with it, put your money in something that will be a real investment. Like Land, as far as I know they are not making any more of that. It’s just a hunk of metal and that’s it.
I’d rather have a plane truck and a bad *** quad then a nice truck and a stock quad. But that just my opinion.

Must of not lowered it right then ;)
Put a small C notch if its bottoming out.
Add some "helper bags" if you want to haul things.
I love lowered trucks. I lowered my old F150 3/5 and I cant wait to do my lightning.

Yeah it was a left over 94 convertion I got new back in 95. It just had a 2” drop shackle on the rear. A shop I used to get my Mack worked on at was putting air ride on some ambulance’s for the city. They had a whole pile of shackles that they had taken off and one of the guys gave me a set. I still have the 2’ drop shackles if anyone wants them.

its all about how you buy. If you do enough research you can make money on absolutely ANYTHING. I've had 17 cars in 4 years and only lost money on one, and that one deal still haunts me haha.
