Does anyone have a Laegers pro trax steering stem for sale for a 250r?

I know its not a 250r t-pin stem, but the newer t-pins use a stock stem(even a 250r). Laeger could sell you the tie-rods that you will need, you will just need a inner tie-rod end to mate to the stock stem. I have a spare t-pin stem and the conversion to use a stock stem.

Do you want to sell your spare t- pin stem?

no, it took me some time to find it. A guy on here responded back to my request for a stem. He only had it because someone bought the a-arms, he had the t-pins and stem left, I would've bought the t-pins also, I didn't have the money for them. If you check on ebay for stoneconceptsatv or something like it, he usually has parts from pro racers quads that he parts out.

I check every day on here and e-bay. I have not found one yet. I would use my Lone Star stem and buy the tie rods and ends from Laegers, but I bought another R and it has a stock stem on it. So I was going to put my LS stem on it. That was about the only stock thing on it except the 89 frame. I bought a +3 Protrax front end minus the stem to put on my Lone Star R. I was hoping to find a stem on here.

I got lucky to find my spare stem, it even had the stabilizer mounts on it. Laeger only sells the stock-type stem t-pins now. I should have been clearer, I was told that the conversion pieces will work with a stock stem or most aftermarket stems. A walsh or Roll lobo 2 stem won't work, all other stock-type stems will work. I have a lsr, Burguard, Laeger, Hre and 2-3 stock stems, I wanted to be sure the conversion would work with them all. Email Scott Taylor about the conversion pieces: staylor@laegers.net, I don't remember how much they cost me. I bought the conversion pieces and then found the t-pin stem on here.

Thank you for your help. I have to buy the parts to rebiuld the t-pin spindles, so I might as well buy the conversion tie rods also.

I'm about 90% sure last time I talked to scott at laeger he said it would be no problem to make a new Protrax style stem. That was probably a month ago. Just thought I'd let you know. Email him he will get back to you. I probably wouldn't bother with the phone.

I e-mailed Laegers Saturday, and Scott said $450.00 for a new stem with top clamp.

In about June when I asked him about the stems, he said, they didn't make them anymore and have no plans of it. None have been made in the past 5-6 years, he sold me the conversion kit.

That is what he e-mailed me back when I asked, 450 with top clamp
