no spark new coil and cdi

ok here is my deal ... i was rideing the other day and it just bogged down like it was running out of gas ... then would not start so i took the plug wire off put a new plug in still no spark ... then i ordered a new coil mine was shot ... now tonight put the new coil in still no spark got a diffrent cdi box and still nothing... next in line would be the stator then right ... or have i over looked

I will bet it's the trigger pickup I have had 2 of them go bad on my 04/05' 450r it is the part that is hooked to the stator just ohm test it if you dont have a ohm meter turn the light on and kick it over if the light flickers the ststor is ok. don't buy a complete stator for a $25 part.

well i kick it over and th light dose fliker... thats why i thought it was the coil... well the coil ohmed bad... any way ... would that part take out the coil ... would you happpen to have a part number on it ... thanks

i cant seam to find the trigger pickup you have a part number or some thing.... cant find it on babbits.com any where like to get this running asap thanks guys

I never heard of buying the pulse generator separately, from the
stator assembly.

me too went to the STEALERSHIP ... and said they never hurd of it ... so this other guy must be FULL OF IT... i asked for the part number ... and he has nothing ... guess i will order a stator ... for it ... any good places to get a stator from ... thanks all for your help ...

I ordered it from my Honda parts guy. Paid around $130. Good luck!

Ask your Honda parts guy, to find a ElectroSport through his distributors. Like Parts Unlimited, etc. Your dealer doesn't have to sell you OEM. Go to the wanted sections on your forum sites, and ask for a good used one. Good luck.
