New shocks!

Well I finally found some yfz450 shocks (thanks to KENNY HEMMINGS..great seller btw) and bought them..They just came in the other day and I began grindin them down! They look so much better than stock..they arethe 07 se models too so they look sharp on my bike! Im still looking to get some shock covers but havent bought any yet. Heres some pics:

I think it looks good..id really like some +2's and elkas or PEP's but I dont have that kinda money now. Im looking to buy/trade my front tires if anyones interested..they are 22in holeshots..im wanting some 20's maybe 19's??

You plan on PC'ing the springs anytime soon? Quad looks perfect with the shocks.

Thanks guys! I thought about gettin the springs painted white but I think im going to just get some PEP shock covers

Covers are ok I guess but I think it takes away from the look of the shock. I had covers but they wore to paint off the shocks and got stained easy.

Oh man it feels awesome now...def an upgrade I would do if I bought another 400...I would for sure recommend these over 450R shocks....ive never had the 450R ones but alot of people say they make it sit higher and are stiff...the yfz 450s are saweet!!!

But how much travel do you loose? Looks to me like you dropped atleast a couple of inches. Do the shocks make up for the lost travel?

I havent really had it on any jumps...mostly trails and they are like ridin on a cloud compared to my stocks..and I have them as low as theyll go...you can actually raise it quite a bit..as well as make them stiffer...mine are at about medium and are doing great but then again I havent jumped with them on yet

how far do you have the compression let i mean are you running on the lowest setting??

cant remember exactly what comp is set at but its a little on the soft side not all the way soft though
