i am also in the middle of my blaster with a yz85 mtr. i was planing to use the stock air bow with a blaster twin air filter. my set up will only need the intake boot extended about 1" longer that stock. my pipe should be done this weekend. then it's off to power coat. then i plan to do a write up on the build. do you have any more pictures?? love to see them. e-mail jefteland@yahoo.com

what gearing are you starting with? did you port the cylinder??

I built one of these recently and just measured the carb diameter and had my parts guy order one.

Nope and I put a washer instead on modifying my casses to align the chain. I will get pics very soon.

I modified mine to work.
I made all new engie mounts.
I used a 428 chain and got my rear conversion sprocket from Sprocket specialties.

just a tip, on the builds instead of trying to line the chain with the motor, line the motor to the chain and make all the motor mounts from there, that way you wont have any problems with the alignment of the chain in the long run
