Looking into a raptor 660 that has a 12.5 to 1 compression ratio, I've read that anything over 12 requires race fuel, Tried to do some research on the subject, and front what i've read race fuel means anything from 99 to 118 octane depending on your location i guess. Locally i have access to 110 octane (7 bux a gallon ) and 93 octane. What i was wondering is if i should run straight 110 octane, or if i can get away mixing the 110 with 93 to a 100 octane mixture or so, also curious if there was any octane boosters that would work with 93 octane for this aplication or are they all a waste of money like i've heard many times before. Heres what the raptor has done to it: bored and stroked to 686, 12.5 compression ratio, stage 3 hotcam, edelbrock intake and edelbrock carb/airbox, CT Racing full exhaust

if you run 2 gallons of 110 octane and 3 gallons of 93 the octane rating comes out to 99.88
do 93x3=279 93 meaning pump gas octane and the 3 means how manny gallons
then do 110x2=220 and number mean the same thing as before 110 meaning octane rarting and 2 meaning how many gallons.
then you do 220+279=499
then divid that by 5 because that how many gallons you have in all. and that euqals 99.88

just do that to figurw out the octane ratios you want to run

I would mix it half and half. What did the previous owner run? Why not run the same as he?
