I have a 2004 450r and they are starting to do TT races , here in the UK.
What would be a basic setup ?
I have a Lonestar lt mx setup front and rear.

most everyone runs a sway bar for TT. Also, Hoosiers or American Racing tires are also needed. I cant think off the top of my head if any other company makes the TT tires.

Cheers Ace. Good point to start on.
Maxxis makes a set of TT tires. You may also want to check out Duro tires. They have a couple tires that I've seen on the TT track before.

You need to get our ride height down around 5" to help with cornering.

a shorter swingarm will help with cornering. Walsh makes a nice tt swingarm thats also lighweight. Anti-swaybar in the front, lowering the machine will help as well. You can also build your engine for tt by using a pipe tuned for topend, using a mid to top end cam grind, and changing your gearing.

Rath Racing also does lightweight TT stuff. Give Daryl a call at 320-234-7223. He has many years of TT experience.
