You need to Put something under the rotor!! A Jagged rock can still take the rotor out!!!! TREE BANGER

The same could be said about sprocket guards yet people use them every race and have become the replacement for skid plates.

We have over two years of GNCC Racing on this set-up. No problems with bent rotors at all.

If a stock brake stay fits then this will also. Its the same design as the stock it just has the extra material added for rotor protection.

Yes it fits stock swing arms as well.

I don't have them yet but I will. They will cost a little more due to the thickness of the billet.

The one is billet and it's thicker( the brake stay)
I raced go karts before and we ran aluminom sprocket guards and we had to get a new one every week just about

The chain guide is up to you. On my Stock swingarm I had to modify the plastic chain guard.

I've been using these since 2006 on my 250x then 400ex with no problems. I won Sport class in 2007 with one and Gary Parmerter won 30+C in 2008 with one, just incase anyone doubted if they would hold up. They seem to be able to take some pretty good hits . even survived the wisp.

as far as thinking it should go under the rotor: the whole point is to have less surface to get hung up on. i can't count how many times over the years i've made passes by taking the crapier line and blowing right through it.

Not to undercut your business, but for anyone interested I have a set of these I bought off of here that are brand new, never rode on I'm selling. I'm selling my quad, and the set is brand new if anyone is interested, same price, 125 shipped

What about the longer sprocket bolts? Can u just replace with bolts from the hardware store? And what colors are the sprocket guard powder coated. Please dont tell me they are white.

racer 557
03-17-2010, 03:05 PM
yes there white and my bolts were fine and i used stock washers plus ones included and still had more room on stud

good product cant wait to test it
