300ex wont crank

could someone help me out my 95 300ex wont crank the reverse light is on but its not in reverse i would like to know if the swicth can be jumped or if there is a better way to fix it?

sounds like one of your wires got unplugged on the right side of the case behing the break leaver.

I never really tried to jump one out.

i checked them i seem to have a good connection
