Can anybody explain to me how the rear brake light works on a trx250x? Is there a mercury switch inside of light, or somewhere on quad to tell the brake light to come on? I only see light wiring connected to electronics of bike and no brake lever control. I was going to install an aftermarket light. Does the brake light work only when the headlight switch is on?Found an answer to my own question. On a 87 250x, there is no brake light, only a tail light. Is'nt that stupid!!! I'll have to look at a 250ex, to figure out what I need to have an operating brake light.
