hey guys i have a question? ok some mornings when i start up my ex when i give it a lil gas and push the trottle to the max it bogs some.. i think its the jetting but i always ran a 170 main.. and it never did it but i just installed a stage 3 cam so maybe i figured i have to go up with the jet it only does it sometimes mostley when i first start it up. .. here are my mods:

11:1 high compression 86mm wiseco piston
stage 3 cam
stage 2 amr rev box
gearing 15/36
k&n air filter
mild p&p
white bros e-series slip on
jet kit, 170 main..

Take your outerwears off your K & N and see if it still does it. I had this problem also when my outerwears got a little clogged. The motor was starved for air, not fuel.

thAt shouldnt change the a/f ratio that drastic , it sounds like u were already jetted on the rich side , da 400ex if that dont help then take ure airfilter off and see if theres a diffrence i run a 152 in mine but i jetted mine with stock syle jets im not familer with these jet kits and there stupid adaptors

mine does the same thing when first started. you just need to let it warm up for a couple mins. these are cold natured beasts, especially the higher compression motors. even in the summer time i have to let her run for a min before it wants to run perfectly. its not a very good idea to go rapping it out when first started, you need to let the oil get circulated. if it still does it after being warmed up good then its probably a jetting or air flow issue.
