I have a friend whos r has ran like **** for sometime... Hes constantly asking me whats wrong with it. (won't clean out on top) Was pretty sure it was electrical. So after watching a several week struggle of swapping parts I offered to take it to my other friends dyno... So we changed around some components and wound up with a new coil and some jetting changes... Got it to clean out good on top. But I think whatever needle is in it, can't remember off hand is way off. It just doesn't have that low.. mid crisp feel I remember on my R's kind of blubbery but its on the leanest clip(best a/f we could get). We are going to take her back after we pick a few up to try... so whats the favorite needle to use. His bike is ported (halls performace) fmf fatty, 38mm pwk, boyseen rad valve. Thanks for the help
