Hey guys, I am wondering how much in labor should it cost to have a new high compression piston ,cam and springs installed in a 400ex? I already own the parts..

Thanks Jim

the local dealer where i live wanted 350 to put the piston in only and i thought that was robbery so i did it myself and it works great. just get you a clymer manual and save the money

i have a question. When you put in a hot cam,do you change the valve clearance from.0004 -.0005 to .0005 - .0006 or just leave it at stock clearance?

i put mine at .005 and .006, the card spec sheet says .006 and .008 but that is for EXTENDED high rpm like in baja

so far no probs. almost 50 hours
