bought blown up yfz, what to do?

just picked up this yfz for $1400 with a blown motor, wondering if i could get some opinions on what to do where i can still run pump gas for trails but still make it competeable for racing? had an 04 that was stock and wasnt enough for the track, then i bought ben bettis' fully built yfz which no one could touch on the track but sucked for trails because it ran on 110. i was thinking of throwing some hotcams in, but dont know what else. any suggestions? any help is greatly appreciated.

Well if you want to still run pump gas there are a lot of things you can do. I have a '07 and I am running a 12.5:1 piston, porting, full yoshi exhaust and modquad intake. The next thing I am getting is some cams from mmad and my carb bored out. If you did those things you can still run pump gas and you would have a runner. I ride trails and dunes. Probably 70 percent trails and 30 dunes and I haven't had any problems with mine.
