motocross question about boots. help

Does anyone know if shorty boots are allowed for quads at tracks. i cant seem to find anything that says the are not but there is nothing that says they are so idk. any help would be great.

I would think they would be but I would never buy a half boot, I like all the protection I can get.

my wife wore a pair of o'neal shorty boots all season and never had anything said to her about them. i even seen 1 or 2 guys riding bikes with them!! personally i prefer to wear the normal racing boots, but i also wear knee/shin gaurds and those boots help hold them in place..

I see you are in Southeastern CT...racing NEATV?

If so, I will go on a limb and say they will not allow short riding boots. You can ask them over on NEATV website to be 100% sure.

I would never think about shorty boots on the tracks and never seen anyone with them at the races.
