clutch adjustment

is their any way to adjust the clutch on a trx 90 or is it time for a new clutch. also on the side of the motor/ trans theirs a small bolt with a locking nut what is that for?

That is the clutch adjuster. Loosen the jam nut turn the screw counter clockwise until you feel resistance then turn it back in 1/8 of a turn and set the jam nut. This is really only a free play adjuster if it still slips after that you need a clutch.
