Me and Tomym have been working out the Rausch Creek Ride. Mark it on your calenders. It will be held the first week of June.

June 7th and 8th. I believe those are the dates. A saturday and Sunday.

I hope to see everyone there.

Lou-Get that darn Black plastic on for the ride.

Just say if you are gonna be there or not so we can get an idea on who is going.

Well the 28th is a bad weekend. Tommy and I have discussed it and feel this would be the best time for it. There is no way to please everyone but we are trying.

THe H.M ride is on the 28th So everyone will be at that. We don't wanna take away from either ride with another. And there is a National on the 2nd weekend in June. And as for the $th of July. That would just be bad. And you don;t wanna go to far into the race season with this ride either due to the face that by that time there will most likey be a battle for points. And you aren;t gonna wanna miss a weekend and lose points.

And plus if it is on the 7th and 8th. We will be able to ride all of the tracks(Bike Track included) and it will not be as muddy and wet.(Tommy knows about that one....He can explain)

Nope It is the 7th and 8th. The first full weekend in June.

the reason its so early in june is bc if u have it later it will interfer with the h.m trips... if we have it late in july it will be to close to the next ride at rausch in august or so...

if ya can't make it to this one hteres always the august one!!!

the park is great i was there only twice last season and the tracks are great, dont change anything there, its perfect. alot of time people have a good track they they try to make it better by changing stuff around and its worse...( jack frost....had a good thing going like 2 years ago, then they deciede that quads couldn't ride the big track anymore cause they made a quad track, and the quad track $ucks *****. so thats why i came up to rausch. lol)

anyway, tommy get on the horn with this guy and set it up.

guyz is a total blast here... watchin lou hit 65ft+ jumps... mike tryin to hit them and tryin to die!!!... unexpected pro riders like chris borch out on the track with u... trails and tracks as far as u can see... awesome people to talk to... TRACK GIRL RIDING A 250R AROUND!!!!!!:eek: ... u will have the most fun ever if u go... its a great time probably the best time i've ever had riding... just watching lou was worth the trip... also the food that pappy cooks is killer and spending the night there was alot of fun 2....

theres jumps for everyone there... and u are able to work up ur skillz...

theres a woods track with 1 jump on it which is a single but its awesome... it goes up and down through this ravine and its always something new... u go up a hill next thing u know ur back down a hill turning sharp then flyin 4th wide open up a straight and back up a hill... its a great ride... sorta like a roller coaster...

the quad mx trax is crazy fun... it has jumps of all sizes... its even fun just to ride on... theres a couple nice size table tops, a awesome mini step up (best jump i've ever HIT!!!), a few huge doubles that are 40ft+... and the famous 65ft+ step up that lou busts out all day long...

then there is a sx track that i didn't spend much time on... it has a great variety of jumps, whoops, table tops, and singles to tables... its alot of fun...

there is tonz of trails but me and pappy only go to venture in about 5mins b4 his quad started acting up and we had to head back...

the bike track is crazy and we should be allowed on it that weekend (1st weekend of the month ur allowed on any track)

theres 2 mini tracks for kids that are learning... the kids blaze on that track all day and everyone comes off with a smile it seems...


i hope alot of u can make it out... you won't regret one min of it!!! last time we had 15 or so riders in our pit alone and over 200 others there... theres always someone to battle it out with on the track...

For all the guys that have gone before:

Grab a buddy and bring them along. The more the merrier. It is gonna be a blast. I knwo for a fact I will be busting on the QUAD and SX trak all day. That trails stuff just isn't for me. Skinney Trails and Tree close by just aren't my style. And as for Lou. You better bring your "A" game cause me and you gonna be battling all day on those jumps.

Thanks Lou, the whole rear end is off the bike though. I'm waiting on my swingarm pivot bushings. I run the bushings cause they last longer and are maitenance free. I hate the bearings.

When I throw the rear end on I'll get a pic of the whole bike.

Guy I think Tommy is going mad- He is trying to make the biggest exriders ride ever. He wants all members that are on East Coast to attend as well as all in the Central part of the Country. But I am totally in support of a gaint ride. It is already gring very quick. Get all your buddies. Bring the Kids. There are youth tracks for them. They will have a blast.

yea its best to overshoot that stepup a little...usually come around the sweeper in 4th pinned hit the 60ft table then i usually coast and shift to 3rd and floor it a lil before the stepup and up and over ya go

thats 60'? i was soo pissed i would come around the turn, and top out in 5th, well come close (i changed my gearing) and then i would let of a lil and come sooo close to clearing it.. haha my balls just shrunk .001 second before i hit that jump... haha


but maybe its cause some lil "tuff kid" with a 400 with everything (tcs shocks front and rear, etc, etc) who was like 4 ft broke his leg on the little enduro that little double near the parking lot. plus i got a sidewall flat from the freggin rocks... haha i wondered off and had to climb that freggin rocky ars hill with 18 turf tamers, and a falling apart skid plate... lol, great times though! great times...

oh thats the little step up. i was thinking the big step up. just hit it as if it was a double. when i jump i usually just somehow know how fast to take the jump. i think if i can get my suspension and chassis done that i might have to follow lou over the big boy(the big step up) and try my luck. i really wanna do that jump. we should also get everyone down here in maryland for a landing mx ride.

Well Guys I have some New Info. I just got done talking to Mark From Rausch and here is what I got.

Price(To Ride): 30 Dollars per day

To Camp: Free

Each day you will have to sign/fill out a new waiver.(No Big deal just a signurature.

Mark was really looking to get a rough estamate on How many people are going. He needs a number so He can talk to the other guys about a Group Rate.

We may get a deal on Day to Day prices.

So this is what I am gonna do: I am going to make a new Thread. This new Thread will be for a Head Count Only. All I want in that post is your name and the names of the people that will be traveling with you.

Thats It. Please do not post anything else. Just the Names. I will post a link in here as well.

the step up section... i was comin 4th wide open around the big sweeper grabbin 4th off the 60ft table top and comin up a lil bit short... then i'd click it down in the air to 3rd and left of... right b4 the step up about 10ft i'd gas it wide open and grab full rear brakes in the air... soon as i'd land pin it shift to 2nd for the bull turn.... grab 3rd outta that turn onto the 45ft table/double click down to 2nd for the lil double then 3rd again for the single and down to 2nd again for the turn.... haha lots of shifting i know...


and yes i want this to be a huge ride.... its awesome there and last time it was cool meeting everyone...

Not sure But i can find out. If you have hte parents get a note that is notorized that says you can sign for them That shoudl be enough.

That is what most places do. Find a person(They are at the Court Houser) That is an notory republic and have them stand there when you sign it and they will sign it after you do and after hte parents do sayign you can sign for them and that should be enough. But I will find otu for sure

you don't need to sign anything... u can be 7 years old on a 400ex there...

i was 16 and my friend was 15... we walked up printed our name, signed our name, paided the 25$ and walked off and road... didn't have to have rents sign anything...

you don't need any nerfs, teathers, or anything... all u need is a helmet, glooves, goggles, long sleeve shirt, and boots of some kind (hunting, riding, etc)

i saw a kid probably 10 out there on a 400ex b4 and his buddy was on a banshee...

yeah, where i ride u can ride anything any age, but ur rent have to sign a waiver, and it has to be notarized if they dont watch you. Ive seen a 30 year old and his 10 yearold rip it up at njorvp(not faster than me i must add) and the guy has a tricked out 250r and 400ex and they switch whenever they want.

nac's the only problem with getting a head now is its soooo early. people will change there minds 10 times before june rolls around, yea know.try explain that to mark and see what he says, i just think a head count now wont be acurate.

hey tommy who ate my roost in the next turn though? thats right :devil haha. i was just lettin ya go ahead of me i wanted to see ur lines and stuff. and that jump after the stepup is probably the best its awesome. and i keep it in 3rd that whole 2nd section. 3rd pinned for the table/double then coast the rest of the way and blurp it and land the double nice. u and pappy always overshot it. and there had to be like a 7 year old on a 400ex and like 9 year old on a raptor then like a 17 year old on a raptor lol. it was fun though cause i tought them how to jump and stuff it was great. they were takin the stepup and that small double :macho

Lou I totally understand where you aare comign from. Yes it is early but alot of people know for sure if they will be there or not. And some people are pretty sure. And for all those people that will sign up and say they are going and drop out there will be just as many people who never signed up because they weren;t sure.


See where I coming from. I am not trying to get an exact numbers as of now. I am just looking for an estimate. This ride is going to pretty dang big and Mark knows that. He was just wondering a round about number so he can talk to the other guys at Rausch about a group discount.

hey lou do u remember jumpin over me???? it was on the last section the double double on the 2nd jump... i remember rolling them both and on the 2nd one i heard this 2 stroke screamin next to me and next thing i know ur 10ft above me and when u hit it through so much dirt in my face haha... i was like :eek:

i have a feally everyones gonna have some fun up there. lou maybe you can help me get the ba!!s up to jump the big step up if my bikes ready by then. it kinda hurts jumping to about half way on stock shocks when the rear is vavled for woods. lol

yeah we can go to jack, were less then an hour away, pick a weekend and nice weather and i will be there, but one thing i dont like is mud tracks, but another thing just to let you know u cant go on the db track so were stuck on the atv track and all it has is that long table, and those 2 doubles...

yea i remember jumpin tommy and pappy haha. the stepup aint that hard like i said before ya just need power and confidence...and of course some skill. i had stock rear shock on when i did it. haha didnt touch it it was the way it stayed when it left the showroom floor. is pappy going to it? hes awesome at takin pics. and hes the 1 who gave me the pep talk to take the stepup. although lou im sure would be just as good haha. i shoulda talked 2 u before i did it though. i could take pics to being i wont have a ride if some1 supplys a camera.

I get my license may 12. I'll be at jack frost, Rauch or racing every weekend from then on.
