any body running the carbon fiber quad tech radiator shrouds and an over flow bottle? I need to mount an over flow bottle but I am trying to avoid drilling holes in my perfect carbon fiber shrouds...

I would just duct tape an old beer can on the carbon fiber shrouds and run the overflow hose into the top of it.....or you could trade me that Laeger for my 06trx450er

Come on La Rock- thats horrible. The sad thing is I have seen some pro's actually do that. I was thinking I could drill a tap a aluminum plate, fasten that thru the shroud, then mount the overflow to the plate. IF it works and holds, it would be good. IF it DOESN'T then I have 6 holes instead of zero. See the problem is what us motocross guys, are bikes get actually ridden hard, vs you flat trackers who are all chrome and ride easy... LOL Just kidding. Heard you have a sweet hybrid on the way, can't wait to see it...

Yea you motocrossers are just like snomobile guys... how about making a bracket that spans across the bottom of the radiator supports where the radiator slips into the frame rubbers and mounting it underneath the radiator? Yea, me and Choad are working on the KTM project, it is gonna be pretty cool. CYA

Bob,

You should get rid of that radiator and get yourself a walsh.

Did you know your shrouds are on backwards? That's the only way they will fit with that radiator. If you had a walsh all your problems would be solved.

Is Walsh even building those anymore? Last time I bought one of those, it was $750 from Seth Fligge, and the retard shipped it to me COD. They are nice, but big money. The rad works good, dual pass is nice. As far as the shrouds being backwards, not sure about that. I'm thinking they are right. I have seen several quads that have those shrouds mounted that way

I have a Fluidyne/Walsh radiator with the aluminum rock gaurd and shrouds from walsh. It also has the same hose connectors as afco radiators have. I might let go of in the next few weeks...pm if there is interest.
