1 whats the diffrences between a no link and a swingarm that needs a link which is better??

2 will a 250r swingarm bolt up to 04 trx450r and shock to if so what advantages will i have

I dont think there is a no link setup available for a 450R, except for maybe a TT setup.

I dont think the 250R rearend will work.

1) No link swingarms have shocks that bolt from the frame directly to the swingarm, while a linked swingarm is exactly that. The shock bolts to a system of linkahes. These linkages usually bolts to the frame and swingarm and acts as a pivot point for the shock.

2) It may, I would strongly reccomend against doing so as it was not designed for a 450r.

KOQ makes a no link for the 450r

the only real advantage in a no link set up in my opinion is ground clearance. No links can be temperamental to set up, typically if you get it right for big jumps its way to hard in the whoops...and if you get it set for whoops its to soft on landings...because it dosnt have the variable compression rate that a linkage gives it...they also dont hook up as good out of corners because the lo link set up resists weight transfer
